Just a few words to let everyone know we are in Florida, safe and sound. We came in through the Cape Canaveral entrance yesterday afternoon and then anchored in Cocoa for the night. It was a wonderfully boring and sometimes dull trip. Just what I wanted. No surprises. Nothing broken. No storms. No seasickness. Days on end of sailing. It doesn't get much better than that.
We're going to work our way up the ICW for a few days to St Augustine, then go off shore to NC when the weather clears there. Although with the reports of the tropical storm forming there, it may be a while before we can go.

Although the ICW is no fun, it gives you many more options for jumping offshore as weather permits, as you know. Your call to run west was excellent as Alberto has developed off the coast with two more lows forecast off NC during the coming days.
Be safe.
Glad you had a boring trip, it's the best kind! We always liked anchoring in Cocoa. A nice little walking town with shops and cafes. Oh, and don't forget to check out the S.F. Travis hardware store!

Good to hear you are safe and sound. Hoping to see you in a few months.

SO happy you're safe and sound. We were looking at your blog every day. Guess you don't have time for a run over to the W coast, but we would love to see you anytime you're around. Welcome back to states!
Glad to hear that the trip was "boring" and more importantly that no one got seasick or nothing broke - now just wish us the same for our crossing to the Azores.
Hope you are in somewhere safe for this blow!!
